April Favorites

From top: St. Ives Apricot Scrub, Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream and Steam Cream

Models Own Eyelash Curlers

I love these eyelash curlers as they make my eyelashes flip right up, but sometimes if you hold them down for too long you can get a harsh line across the eyelashes. I clamp them down for about 5 secs to get the right curl. I know that Shu Umeras curlers are supposed to be the best but I was looking for a cheaper pair. These cost only £6.00 from Boots.

St. Ives Apricot Scrub

This is a must have in my routine, it leaves the skin feeling really soft and smooth. It says you should use about 4 times a week to reveal brighter looking skin, so I took it to the test and I must say my skin is looking a lot brighter and softer then before. I got the blemish one as my skin gets break outs, I'm not sure it really helped that much with the breakouts but I didn't feel like i was getting as much as I usually do. They do others in the range too! They retail at £3.95 from Superdrug

Splurge vs Steel Cream Blushers

I'm always on the lookout for cheaper alternatives to designer beauty products. If I can save money then I'm all for it. I've tried both of these blushers and there is barely any difference between the two. They each have a sparkle in them and have a light ballerina pink colour.

Summer Essentials

My beauty bag is usually filled up to the top when I go on holiday, I try to say to myself 'oh I don't really need that hair mist' but it usually ends up coming with me anyway. Just in case lol. Here's what you'll find in my beauty bag:
Sun screen, I tend to wear factor 15, but I usually bring factor 25 for the face.
A body moisturizer to prolong the tan or after sun. I always take my Soap and Glory body butter.
An exfoliater to bring out the tan and to buff away all the debris that builds up after being in the sea/pool. At the moment I'm using Soap and Glory's scrub.
Lip balm, preferably with an SPF as my lips get really chapped; Carmex is a good make.
Hair mist with SPF 15 by L'Oreal.
Hair mask.
Eight Hour Cream by Elizabeth Arden.

What are your summer essentials? I'd love to know what products are a must have in your kit. Just leave me a note in the comment box, thanks. xxxxxx

Celebrity's Beauty Products

Being really into skincare I have always been a bit obsessed with what celebs use on their skin as it's always so perfect looking, I know it's probably some really over priced product but I thought I'd find out what they used and tell you guys.

Victoria Beckham: eight hour cream by Elizabeth Arden

Jennifer Aniston: Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream

Annalynne Mccord: Philosophy microdelivery mini peel pads

Rachel McAdams: Clinique's moisture surge extended thirst relief

Cheryl Cole: L'Oreal pure zone step 1 and Sudocrem

Eva Mendes: Perricone Md no foundation foundation

My Skincare Regime

Firstly I remove my make-up with Garniers make-up remover then I either wash my face with Oxy's seaweed face wash or use St.Ives Apricot scrub which I recently purchased and love. Then I use Steam Cream to moisturize and if I have any pesky spots I use Oxy spot gel. I'd love to know your skincare regime and tips. xxxx

Body Butter

I love this Soap and Glory body butter as it smells gorgeous and leaves my skin feeling nourished and supple. I've been a big Soap and Glory fan since I first saw the range a few years back, I just love the packaging. The Righteous Butter is from Boots and costs £10.50

Mythic Oil

This is a great hair oil which I use after washing my hair when its slightly damp, it smells so good. It leaves the hair much more manageable and silky. Made with grape seed oil to nourish the hair, this is great for those who heat damage and process their hair and is in need of some care.
It costs around £12 from your salon or online: cheap smells or feel unique

Clean and Clear Moisturizer

This moisturizer is designed for oily/spot prone skins, I use this when my skin feels greasy and when I'm having a break out. It absorbs straight away and doesn't leave any kind of residue or greasiness on the my skin. It says it helps prevent blemishes and blackheads, and I didn't notice many new ones come through whilst using it.  I would recommend this to those who have greasy skin, not dry as it doesn't get rid of my dry patches. I have the typical combination skin which gets oily and spotty in one area and in others it's really dry.
you can buy this from Boots for £2.99 so it a bargain!!!!!
